The reason is that the ionization enthalpy of boron is the energy necessary to remove an electron from neutral atoms whereas the ionization enthalpy of beryllium is the energy needed to remove an electron from positive ion.It is more difficult to remove an electron from positive ion due to strong attraction between the electron and the positive ion.
