This is so because they are exactly same as their parents.During DNA copying very less variations occurs which do not affect their apoearance .

In asexual reproduction ,fusion of gametes does not occur. ... In the process of asexual reproduction, only one parent is involved and there is no fusion of male and female gametes. As a result, the offspring produced are morphologically and genetically similar to their parents. Therefore , they are called clones
