Why oil is not stouble in water?

because of density and some chemical reaction between them may not take place

BECAUSE WATER IS POLAR AND OIL IS NON POLAR , THEIR MOLECULES AREN'T ATTACHED TO EACH OTHER.THE POLAR SOLVENT LIKE WATER ARE ATTACHED TO OTHER POLAR MOLECULES ,SUCH AS THOSE OF OIL..................
