why on cancelling out we get 1 while on subtracting we get 0?

First of all,

when u cut 3/2 -3/2 ...how did u get one ..?

Okay let me give u some examples......

2-2 = 0

3-3 =0

Hence, any number subtracted from the same  number gives zero!

Now coming to the part where u got confused..

3/2 - 3/2 = ?

Usually when we cut something ( same number with opposite signs... we get zero...not one. in multiplication we get one )

3/2 -3/2 = 0

U just made a calculation mistake ...which got u into confusion
