people believe till now that one cant drown in the dead sea because the salty waters will keep you floating but that's not true.People do drown in the dead sea except the drowning in the dead sea isn't the same as in ordinary seas. All minerals surrounding it are washed into the one pool making it ten times as salty as other seas. But one way in which a person may drown is by intak8ing the salt in the dead sea.Taking large quantities of salt hurts the heart and kidneys and causes the body to shut down.Another way one can drown in the dead sea-when people float on their backs their faces are clear of water. If they turn over,or even trip their body will be clear of water but their faces are pushed into the sea.anyone whos been to a  normal sea knows that the only way to get the head up and out of the water is to force the feet and lower the body down very easy in fresh water. However it is hard when the water keeps forcing every part of the body up.Because the water is dense its hard to put an arm into the water and turn over. The myth that the dead sea cant drown people isn't helping.
