why One end of the drawing pins is broad and flat, whereas its other end is pointed and sharp?​ ​

Explanation:

We know that Pressure is inversely proportional to area. So, smaller area will exert more pressure, hence one side of a drawing pin has pointed end so that it can easily pierce into the board and the other have a pointed and staip side so that it doesn'e apply too much force on our finger.
