'Train to Pakistan' is a book by the Indian author Khushwant Singh. Mr. Singh is known for his wit, sarcasm and simplicity of prose. The book is set in 1947, during the Indo-Pak partition in a small village on Punjab border called Mano-majra. Like most of his other works, the story remains true to its real-life roots.
