Aerobic respiration gives out more oxygen. Smaller organisms do not require much Oxygen for their life processes. This small amount of oxygen is fulfilled by the anaerobic respiration. But, larger organisms require more Oxygen, which can be fulfilled only by aerobic respiration and not anaerobic respiration.
