why only we put sodium and potassium in the kerosene only... can we put it in any other oils...

Not necessarily kerosene, but we can store sodium and potassium in mineral oil. Sodium is a very reactive element, it is a strong reducing agent therefore it reduces oxygen and water. Compounds present in kerosene are already reduced hence no further reduction of kerosene oil can take place

And similar is the case with potassium. Therefore to prevent any sort of vigorous reaction, these elements are stored in kerosene.
