Open book exams allow you to take notes, texts or resource materials into an exam situation. They test your ability to find and apply information and knowledge whereas Closed-book assessment. This is the traditional mode of assessment, in which students are allowed to take no notes, books or other reference material into the examination room, relying entirely on their memory to answer the questions set.
