Why opuntia means cactus is contain another symmetry why not bilateral symmetry but some cactus is look like bilateral ?????()()()

Bilateral symmetry :- A type of symmetry in which a body can be divided into two equal identical halves when cut vertically.

example - Human beings.

But in case of cactus :-

1) It is no necessary that it is identical in case of its leaves,branches,shoots,etc.

2) Although its main shoot may look similar to bilateral but it is impossible to say it bilateral, as when it is cut Vertically then it gives Asymmetrical shape.
