catenation is the property of carbon by which it can make bonds with many other carbon atoms leading to large number of chains.

Organic compounds always contain carbon while inorganic compounds contain metal and other elements.Carbon _hydrogen bonds are the characterwise of organic compounds while these are not found in inorganic compounds .Inorganic compounds contain metal atom while they are never found in organic compound.
