Answer: (1) Organisms need to take food because the food gives us energy to do the needful work. It is a essential for our survival because the food have nutrients such as protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and etc.

(2) Parasites= Parasites are those animal that live inside the other animal and take food from those animal whereas saprotroph are those animal who takes nutrients from dead plants and animals. Example= Mushroom

(3) The presence of starch in leaves can be tested by the following ways:- First cut the leaves into two parts and take a piece. Take a dropper and take a drop of iodine on the half parts of the leaf. By this way we can test the presence of starch in it.

(4) The process of making food by plants is called photosynthesis. It is done by the help of sunlight, water, minerals and etc.
