Why ortho-nitrophenol is steam volatile while para-nitrophenol is less volatile

Answer: Ortho-nitrophenol is steam volatile while para-nitrophenol is less volatile because ortho-nitrophenol forms intramolecular hydrogen bonding whereas para-nitophenol forms intermolecular bonding.
