Why osmotic pressure is preferred over other colligative properties for the determination of molecular mass of macromolecules?

Because other colligative properties require abnormal temperature conditions unlike determining by osmotic pressure which is set up at room temperature only.
Moreover calculations carried out in the method of osmotic pressure involves molarity instead of molality (which is the case in others). Since, molarity doesn't change with temperature it's better to use this method.
