If u cut ur finger and it starts bleeding one of ur blood vessels might have got damaged these blood vessels send the signal to the platelets and then the platelets rush to the site of damage and forms clots to stop the bleeding.


Therefore the blood stops flowing once the platelets clots the sight of bleeding
