The constitutional Assembly functioned in an open , consensual, and systematic manner. The members of the assembly laid great emphasis on discussion and reasoned argument. The way the deliberation took place in the assembly it undoubtedly gave sanctity to our constitution. 

a. There was a general consensus on some basic principles to be adopted.  Every decision was taken democratically with due accommodation of different shades of opinions.

b. The drafting committee headed by B. R Ambedkar prepared a draft constitution. The draft was discussed, drafted and deliberated. 

c. Each draft of this constitution was scrutinized, discussed in detail with reason. 

d. Every document presented, each word spoken was recorded and preserved.

The manner in which the Constituent Assembly worked gives sanctity to the Constitution of India. The statement can be justified with the following arguments :

1.  It included its members from almost all the communities of the country.

2.  The Constituent Assembly worked in systematic, organised, open and consensual manner.

3.  It went through thorough discussions and debates and prepared a draft Constitution.

4.  The Draft Constitution was discussed clause by clause and more than two thousands amendments were considered.

5.  Every word and document presented in the Constituent Assembly was recorded and preserved.  

6.  It took Two years, eleven months and 18 days for Constituent assembly to prepare the Constitution.
