A country that imports more than it exports has Less Value Of Currency. Like India imports more than it exports.

This is one reason why 1 Indian Rupee is = 73.28 USD (Mar'2021).

Smaller and less industrialised countries like Bahamas (1 Bahams$ = 1US$), are not as dependent on imports (like crude oil) as India.
