Why our hairs in black in color?

There are two pigments in the cell of the hair which give it colour that is
eumelanin and pheomelanin

Pheomelanin gives hair the orange and red colour. it is present is everyone's hair but some has more and some has less.

Eumelanin has two subtypes of black and brown. it determines the darkness of the hair colour.

So due to the presence of Eumelanin in more amount in our hair cells, our hairs are black in colour.
