Required Answer:-Assertion:Owls can move freely during the night.- The assertion is true because Owl is a nocturnal bird which sleeps during the day for conserving energy and hunts during the night when everyone's asleep.Reason:They have large number of rods on their retina..- The reason is true as well. Rods are certain features in our retina which is responsible for indicating the intensity of light. More number of rods means more intensity of light can enter. Hence, Nocturnal animals have more rods to let in more light during the night.
