why oxidation state for cobalt (-1) and what is the structure??

Cobalt (III) oxide is an inorganic compound. It is formed betweencobalt(Co) and oxygen(O). In this interaction, cobalt has an oxidation state of +3 while oxygen has oxidation state of -2. They interact to give Co2O3.,
