Answer:

Plants release oxygen during the day in the presence of natural light through the process of photosynthesis. While at night, the plants uptake oxygen and release carbon dioxide, which is called respiration.

Explanation:

However, some plants can uptake carbon dioxide during the night as well because of their ability to perform a type of photosynthesis called Crassulacean Acid Metabolism (CAM). Having these plants at home improves air quality throughout the day and helps people to sleep

Plants prepare their food in the presence of sunlight by the process of Photosynthesis . As a result of Photosynthesis Oxygen is released by the plants as a Product . At night there is no sunlight ,so plants are not able to prepare Food . No Photosynthesis occurs no Oxygen is released . Plants play a crucial role in our life .They not only Provide food to us but also the Oxygen which we are in need to survive . If there were no plants no animals would have been survived. But plants are harmful to us at night, as they don't release Oxygen instead they release Carbon dioxide which is Harmful to us .
