Inagine a right angled traingle sides PQR. One of the angle is 90 degress, which proves, other two sum equals 90 degrees.

Now, p and R are base and perpendicular respectively. Therefore, the angle between p and q being {x}

tangent of {x} = 1(given){P/R}

or 45 degrees.
