why paddy cannot be grown in winter season

dido: Paddy is a kharif crop which is sown in rainy season. It requires lots of water for its growth. During winter large amount of water is not available. Hence due to unavailability of sufficient water and unfavourable climatic conditions paddy should notbe grown in the winter season.
