Hi,

Your answer :
The Pakistani army considers itself as essential for the security of the country, for its sovereignty, for its survival as a state with the ideology of this state that was Marshal Tito in the former Yugoslavia; because it makes hold a fragile federation where the smaller provinces feel more and more resentment because of the treatment they undergo in Islamabad. While the army played a significant role in the break-up of the country in 1971, military personnel are the only guardians of its integrity. As in Yugoslavia, the army eradicates all forms of sub-national or ethnic identity; it promotes a centralized state whose military seeks to preserve unity in accordance with parameters defined by them. Since its inception in 1947 and after the first war with India in 1947-1948, Pakistan has developed a besieged nation syndrome, constantly threatened by the "Hindu" state of India - a widespread representation in circles of policy makers. Pakistan's relations with its other neighbors - Afghanistan included - and the rest of the world are marked by this deep sense of insecurity maintained by the military and which has permeated the dominant sectors of the population; as well as a desire to remain a pillar of the country. Over the years, the military has become a rentier organization that serves the security interests of the United States. The material and financial benefits she gets from her global boss fuel her strength, which in turn turns into political power. It is therefore not only a powerful political actor; it also has a strong economic and social presence.

Good bye ;)
