Why pakistan under general mushraff cannot be called a democracy? give reason?

Pakistan under General Musharraf is not called democratic because General Musharraf was an army general not a person who is elected by the people of Pakistan in democracy people elect their own leader but that is not in the case of General Musharraf that's why is not called democratic government
