When you encourage your child to take part in sport, you are also helping to develop his social skills. ... By participating in sport, your child will develop social skills such as leadership and how to communicate and build a team. That will help him later in various spheres of life.

Answer:

Becuz Indian Parents want their children to study well and have secure jobs. I won’t blame indian parents for these I will blame mf society.

Most of the Indian parents as far as I have seen want their children to be good in studies, have good jobs, and have a good family. It's not a bad thing because every parents want you to be in a good position. What they don't really understand is NOT EVERYONE IS BRILLIANT IN STUDIES.

What most parents want these days are Money and Power but what they fail to understand is that these both do not bring Happiness .

I'm a big fan of Basketball. I love to play basketball, they've seen me play basketball, they've seen me get awards and prizes. What they don't want me to do is get into Basketball.

Their only fear is that they don't want your child to get deeply into sports and not concentrate the same on studies. This is every parent's fear.

I'm not a topper of my class, I'm not smart as most of the people in my class. I'm just an Average student in my class. They know I can't do any better than my average but they still force me to study and not get into sports because someone's child got first rank in the class.

The problem here again with most of the Indian Parents is COMPARISON. If someone else's child is a Doctor or an Engineer, you can't expect your child to become the same. Every child has their own dreams and they're always passionate about something. I want every parent who's reading this, to spend some time with your child and ask him what he/she is passionate about.

And even if you have Power and Money or if you're child is successful, please don't ever boast to anyone about it. This is going to hurt some other person and make them start thinking about their child and will start comparing their child with your child which is going to stop him from what he/she wants to become.

I'm sorry if I've said anything wrong ,this is what something I've always wanted to share. Thank you for this question and I hope I've cleared your answer.

Have a beautiful day ahead :-)
