Less priority to girls education .

→ In Rural Indian society this thinking exists . Parents of girl child give less priority to their education as compared to boys . This is because of certain issues :-

• They thought that the work of a woman is to manage house so there is no requirement of education .
• If they spend on her education then it will give no return to them . Even after giving edu. they have to give dowry also .
• Security related reason . In villages normally we can find schools only upto to 5th or 8th standard. So for further studies they need to go to city . But their parents don't find it safe .

These are some reasons .
