Patidars of Gujarat and Jats of Uttar Pradesh supported Civil Disobedience Movement because:-

1. These people came from rich agricultural backgrounds. They had to pay large amounts of revenue to the colonial government for cultivation.

2. Because of the agricultural depression, the prices of agricultural products reduced, exports fell, and the incomes of these farmers declined.

3. These people were unable to pay the revenue and wanted the revenue to be relaxed. For this purpose, they supported the Civil Disobedience Movement.
