After the independence of India, the hindus and muslims were geographically divided into India and Pakisthan heavily supported Jawarhalal Nehru.

All this began from the initial plea from Mohammad Ali Jinnah to separate a independent country for the muslim community. The British served as a spark by always wanting to divide and rule. They always wanted disgruntlement within India and Pakisthan.Heavy loss of life and property took place when the people moved. Despite of the reason for the partition many muslims were left behind in India.

Maybe Jinnah, simply wished to use the demand for a separate state as a bargaining chip to win greater power for Muslims within a loosely federated India. One explanation for the chaotic manner in which the two independent nations came into being is the hurried nature of the British withdrawal.

rahul109: okay is there any possibility to stop this partition or it was political fenomena ?
SANDRAJONES: I think it was the political play of the British. They wanted us to never be in peace and the achieved it. MK Gandhi got killed agreeing to the partition by Godse. He would have met with same fate even if he had disagreed to it.
rahul109: yeah but after independence their was not much hands of British or accumadit this kind of big event and it would be much btr if that not begin.
SANDRAJONES: Yes, we were not under control of British but their influence was still on us. They just acted as a spark and leaders like Jinnah became brainwashed and took matters into their hands and started demanding for the partition. Gandhi had to agree for the independent country was a new born one and he did not want it to get into chaos again.
rahul109: and if this event haven't take place then is this was possible to see a btr india?
SANDRAJONES: Sure, our country's resource base would have increased and so would have our GDP. India spends a large amount military for protecting our borders against Pakisthan. This money could be utilised more usefully. We are also not able to utilize our Kashmir fully.
rahul109: thanks
