Why patna receives heavier rain than delhi

 (i) Patna receives heavier rain than Delhi because Patna lies to the east ofDelhi and the amount of raindecreases as the winds (Bay of Bengal current) advances towards the north west.
(ii) The station lies on the west coast of India because the amount of rainfall is high in the month of June and July.

Patna lies in the east and we know that the monsoon winds moves towards eats when stuck from satpura and aravali ranges so,patna recieves more rainfall than that of delhi
