Patol Babu had put his heart and soul into playing his role, which involved uttering just a sound, not even a proper word. Although his role seemed insignificant, he played it with utmost dedication. So at the end of the shot, he was happy and satisfied that he had given his best for the shot and felt full. Hence, although he was in need of money, he no longer cared about his payment as he was satisfied with his work and didn't care if he wasn't paid for it. Hence he left after his shot was done.
