The Plasmodium Fasifarm Malaria (pea false malaria) is known as the Black Disease because: 1.Sporozoite, Merozoite, Schizoite, Gametozotet are the four stages of malarial disease.
2. A Sporozoite enters a host body.
3. It then infects the liver cells and develop into Merozoites.
4. These Merozoites attack the Red Blood Corpuscles.
5. When this happens, the RBCs break down or disintegrate.
6. when the RBCs disintegrate, the hemoglobin breaksdown and turns black in color. Hence, it is known as Black Disease.
7. It then turns into Gametozoite which is carried away by another mosquito.
