why peninsular rivers are seasonal?

It is because these rivers are dependent on rainfall unlike the himalayan rivers which are perennial as they get continuous supply of water from the melting snow

Peninsular rivers are seasonal because these rivers are dependent on rainfall.In summer seasons these rivres will not have water and in monsoon season the rivers will be covered with water.On the otherhand the Himalayan rivers are seasonal as they got water from the melting of ice.
