Why people nowadays curious to know about the secrets of the universe

Not only people of today are curious. Men have been curious since the very beginning.
The stars in the sky have always been there for all of us, and our ancestors wondered what they were and how the worked, just the same as we do now, the only difference is that today we do have tools for studying them a lot better. We are now assuming less.
It wasn’t until very recently that we started to have a deeper understanding of the stars and the beginning of our universe, and that itself should be very interesting for all of us, because a better understanding of the sky is a better understanding of what we are and how we got here in first place. After all, we are all made of stardust.
By observing and studying our universe, we will be able to throw better predictions of our own fate. This will make us more prepared for possible threats to our own existence. This may be the only way to make our species go live an conquer different regions of space besides Earth.
