Why people pollute environment?
Answers
In order to fulfill their own needs they pollute the environment without thinking about their future generation.this shows that they do becoz of their selfishness.
Answer:
Lack of awareness, lack of responsibility and negligence are the main reasons behind people polluting the environment.
People basically don’t know the effects pollution will have on the environment and on our future generations, which might gradually decrease once people get to know about it and the methods to control it.
Some of the common examples through which this can be described are:
Even though the workplaces of many people are nearby their houses, people wish to go on their own transport like cars, bikes etc., which are polluting the air we breathe. They could have gone to their workplaces on a bicycle, or on a public transport etc. People are not bothered about all this. All they see is time and money saving.
Many of us go to restaurants, shopping malls etc., buy a lot of stuff to eat and drink. That’s good. But the worst part is when people throw the plastic wastes on the roads. As the plastic is non bio degradable, people indirectly contribute towards polluting the environment (knowingly or unknowingly). This causes pollution again.
Consider a very small leakage of water from a tap in your house. People generally neglect this issue but a single drop becomes a bucket of water gradually with time. Many people in the world are suffering without a drop of water to drink, and here we are wasting water all over. (Though this point might seem irrelevant it’s a major issue and I feel like speaking abt it so that people would know).
These are some of the reasons why people pollute the environment. If they know about the severity of the issue, if they can be provided with some awareness, there will surely be a change. It can be started with your own house. You can educate your family and friends who might not be having awareness about this. So you should try to make them understand about the severity of the issue so that pollution can be reduced gradually in the future.
