why permanent magnet are not used for induatrial purpose

1) Permanent magnet are those which have a continuos property of magnetization.

2) The Magnetic substances are used for several purposes in industries like loading , transporting , Pulling weights etc.

3) The permanent magnets will easily load any
metallic substance , but unloading will be very much difficult. We have to use a magnet which has more magnetic property than the permanent one.

4) This process would cost double i.e. one for the permanent magnet and another to unload fro the permanent magnet.

5) The permanent magnets are usually very much greater in sizes so their transporting again becomes difficult.

6) The permanent magnet will attract every single metallic object in its vicinity. So it's storage will too be difficult..

7) Instead of permanent magnets , we use temporary magnets created by just passing electricity through any matallic conductor.

8) Temporary magnets are easier to be handled , stored , transported and for loading and unloading too.


Due to these reasons , PERMANENT magnets are not used in industries.
