why photosynthesis does not happen in xerophytes

as chlorophyll is not thier in xerophytes plants..

rishabhsinghkun: ok as.. chlorophyll is ver neccesaary to take photosynthesis process in plants..but if there is no chlorophyll how the process takes place..hope it hepls u
