why photosynthesis is considered as the most basic life processes?

photosynthesis is considered as the most basic process in plants because it is by this process that plants make their food. in this process plants make use of the CO2 and sunlight and synthesis O2 and c6h1206(starch)
this process helps the plant to make their food. also it helps the plants to sustain their life so it is called the basic life process

photosynthesis is considered as the most basic life process because :-
1. it is the process through which plant make their food with the help of water , sunlight , mineral present in soil, etc.
2. with the help of photosynthesis process plant make food , grain which we eat.
3. plant is the only source which absorb carbon while doing photosynthesis to make energy.

ayushkumar17: plants provide oxygen to us by process of photosynthesis.... plant later convert that energy to glucose ... when we eat that glucose energy is transformed to us & when we die that energy get mixed with soil & again back to the plant ...hope this would help you : ). & role of light in process in photosynthesis is to give a path for entrance for CO2 present in air through stomatal pore
