the pigs toil in the mud during hot summer days because in summer the temperature is very hot , to avoid the hot temperature the pig toil in mud. we know that the water evaporates fast in summer day .But compared to water the mud has a capacity to evaporate slow .as we know the evaporation is a cooling process the pig feel cool for long time. so the pigs toil in mud on hot summer day.
