Why pitcher plant has both autotrophic and heterotrophic mode of nutrition? Can you explain it briefly?

autotrophic bcoz it is a green plant and has chllrophyll in it .but bcoz of it's nitrogen deficient soil it absorbs nitrogen from insects and it makes it hetrotrophic.
