Pituitary Gland are located below \textbf{Hypothalamus}.

They are called master gland, because it controls the functioning of the other glands. It secretes TTH which stimulates secretion of thyroxine.

satyam8984rawat: friend IT is TSH Not TTH
satyam8984rawat: THYROXIN STIMULATING HORMONE
Anonymous: it iss both TTH as TTH = Thyrotrophic Hormone

hey buddy !! here's your answer...

➡️the pituitary gland is known as master gland because it produces hormones which regulate the secretion of other hormones from different glands and other activities.

➡️ex. adrenocorticotropic hormone, which stimulates the adrenal glands to secrete steroid hormones, principally cortisol. Growth hormone, regulates growth, metabolism and body composition.

hope it helps !!❤️✌️
