Why planets don't twinkle

Due to atmospheric refraction we think that planet are twinkle but it's not correct because when Ray of light travel from a one medium Rarer to Denser medium than it bends towards the normal so due to atmospheric refraction person seems that planet is twinkling

Because the planets are not much distant as compared to stars, therefore the light emitted doesn't undergo much refraction to appear as it is twinkling
