there are two reasons for this rigidity of plant cell
1. cell wall which is made of cellulose and it thick and rigit which helps in the rigidity of the cell &
2. the large vacuole present in the plant cell which maintains the shape and the rigidity of the plant cell.
hope this helped you !!!
