Why plant cells are taken from the tip of the plant for tissue culture?

tissue culture means we are providing favorable conditions for plant cells to divide and Grow apart from the original parent plant

we take the cells from the tips as they have apical meristematic cell which divide rapidly and aids in the growth Which is regulated studied and controlled in the tissue culture process
