Plants growing in fertilized soil are often formed to wilt, if the soil is not adequately watered because of flaccidity or a decrease in turgor pressure exerted by the absorbed water on the cell wall of plants. The concentration of water molecules being less outside, endosmosis takes place resulting in the wilting of the plants.
