Plants are called green gold because they give us food,oxygen and many other things which is very precious for us and if we don't have it then we would have died.Because it is so precious just like gold and its green color makes it call green gold.

Plants provide us with food , oxygen , serves as fuel . They helps in maintaining the environment . Trees conserve water , preserves soil and support fauna. Trees serve multiple purpose .So they are called green gold
