PORK/PIG IS FORBIDDEN IN:

CHRISTIANITY

JUDAISM

ISLAM

Pork/Pig is forbidden due to the health risks of fats, toxins and bacteria.

The meat and fat of a pig absorbs toxins like a sponge. Their meat can be 30 times more toxic than beef or venison.

When eating beef or venison, it takes 8 to 9 hours to digest the meat so what little toxins are in the meat are slowly put into our system and can be filtered by the liver. (Imagine the effects of eating Pig in comparison to this…)

Pig has more fat than muscle-building material and it is more liable to disease than other kinds of meat. Some of the diseases caused by the consumption of pork that science has discovered are trichinosis, characterized by hair-like worms in the muscular tissue.

This is the main reason why Muslims, Christians and Jews are forbidden from eating Pig. :)

VERSES THAT FORBID THE CONSUMPTION OF PIG:

Bible -

Leviticus 11:7-8

And the pig, because it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall not touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you.

Isaiah 66:3

“He who slaughters an ox is like one who kills a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, like one who breaks a dog's neck; he who presents a grain offering, like one who offers pig's blood; he who makes a memorial offering of frankincense, like one who blesses an idol. These have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations;

Qu’ran -

“He hath forbidden you only carrion, and blood, and swine flesh, and that which hath been immolated to (the name of) any other than Allah. But he who is driven by necessity, neither craving nor transgressing, it is no sin for him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful” (Qur'an 2:173).
