why potassium is not used for reaction with dilute hydrochloric acid or dilute sulphuric acid in lab preparation of hydrogen

Because metals like Na and K are too much reactive with acid and react with a explosive nature so , it is too dangerous to use them in lab behind student

Hi

this is because potassium is highly reactive to these chemicals and also to the environment it is just like how reactive sulphur is in this atmosphere
