why potassium react with dil hcl give explosive

hey mate here is ur ans

potassium is a very reactive metal and lies at the top of the activity series, so when it comes with contact with hcl it reacts vigorously with it, and even catches fire.

because potassium is very reactive metals it react with water to form colour less solution
it is basic in nature
